The following boats are available to hire by the hour at the
boatyard on a first come, first served basis. If you would like to
guarantee one of these boats, you are able to book them for the
day online or you are welcome to book them with a skipper by
the hour.

Can I book a boat for an hour or multiple hours?
Unfortunately not, we only allow bookings for the full day hire 10am – 5pm and this must be booked online. You can still hire a boat for an hour or more on a first come first served basis.

Can I bring my dog onboard?
Yes you are welcome to bring dogs onboard all the self drive launches we just ask you keep them off the cushions.

Am I guaranteed a boat for an hour if I just turn up?
We have a large range of boats available and we mostly keep up with demand, however on warmer, sunnier days there can be a delay for a boat.

Does a child count towards the number of passengers on the boats?
Yes. Any child above the age of 1 counts as a full adult onboard the boat for safety and insurance purposes. You can not at any time exceed the capacity of the boats.

Can I still go through the locks if I hire a boat for an hour?
You will not have enough time to go through a lock if you hire a boat for just an hour you must complete the hour circuit on the Henley Reach. If you hire the boat for anymore than an hour you can travel through the locks.
