Thames river taxis to Rewind – the 80’s Festival 

Hobbs of Henley are proud to be appointed again the only official river taxi providers to the Rewind Festival in 2023. Our vessels will be available from 12 noon Friday 18th August to midnight Sunday 20th August to transport you from Henley Town Centre (by the bridge) to the Festival site and return. Last departure on Saturday and Sunday from the Festival site will be 11.45pm.

The Thames river taxi trip takes about 15 minutes. Return tickets cost £15.00 per person with singles £8.00 and are available on the boat on the day, by cash only. 

Our main departure point is by Henley Bridge, ‘Rewind River Taxi Departure Pier’ - see Hobbs site map. Please follow the ‘Official River Taxi Service’ signs from the Railway Station and look out for the ‘Official River Taxi Service’ banners either side of the Henley Bridge (Henley Town side). 

We aim to have a boat at the departure points every 15 minutes on Saturday and Sunday and every 30 minutes (on either the hour or the half hour) on Friday. At peak times we will provide more boats and do our best to get you, your big hair and your pixie boots / Frankie T shirts downriver to the site as quickly as possible.

Please be aware that unlicensed river taxi operators may not have adequate commercial insurance or such a safety focus compared to Hobbs. With 150 years of experience we’ll get you to the site safely (just watch out for all those eye height shoulder pads…).
