Comfortably seating 8 guests, the ‘Eighteen Seventy’ features a unique hardtop system which can be raised or lowered in a matter of seconds, allowing passengers to enjoy the good weather and protect themselves from the bad. Throw in adjustable seating, a drinks fridge, a teak deck bathing platform and a music system, and the Alfastreet is the perfect way to cruise the Thames in style.

Please note: You must return the boat by 17:00 ...unless during Henley Regatta and then 18:00.

"What a wonderful day! Hired ‘Eighteen Seventy,’ an Alfastreet launch with Hobbs of Henley, and was very impressed. Vessel was spotless and exactly as pictured on the website. The whole booking and collection process was simple, and the team were very friendly and helpful. Can't fault them!"

  • Does this boat have a toilet?

    ‘Eighteen Seventy’ does not have a toilet onboard, however there are plenty of locations you can stop at along the way. We also have toilet facilities at our main site before you depart.

  • Are there side curtains with the roof in case it rains and can the roof be removed if required?

    There are no sides however with the modern sleek design you can lower the roof on hydraulics to fully shelter yourself, the roof is fixed and can not be removed.

  • Is there a security deposit for this boat?

    £250 security deposit is required before departure. This is refunded if the boat is back by 5pm, returned clean and tidy with all rubbish removed. The deposit is non-refundable if a rope is left in the water and gets caught around the propeller, or for gross negligence resulting in an accident.

  • Can I bring all my own food and drink onboard?

    Yes of course! We just ask you remove your rubbish at the end of the hire, bins are provided back at the boatyard.

  • Do you provide buoyancy aids with the hire and are they included in the price?

    Yes, all customers have access to buoyancy aids before their departure. A staff member will show you where to access these before you head off. Buoyancy aids are included in the price of the hire of the boat.

  • Can I exceed 8 passengers even if they are kids?

    Anyone over the age of 1 years old is classed as a passenger. You cannot exceed the limits on the boats, this Is bound by law.
